I have recently renewed my Local's Pass for Heligan, so with a beautiful sunny day forecasted for today, it seemed like the perfect time for a visit.
The pathways are lined with daffodils and primroses, and the magnolias and camellias are showing well. Unfortunately, we timed our visit a few days too early for the magnificent magnolia tree on Flora's Green which was a shame. It is partly in flower, but not the full spectacle just yet.
However, we were fortunate to see the new arrivals, 6 little piglets, all snuggled together having a snooze in the sunshine. I was also pleased to get some great photographs of the birds visiting the feeders at the bird hide.
